2000 Yarra Valley Geelong Pinot Noir
Ruby red colour. Complex nose, showing fleshy, smoked ham aromas and a hint of violets. There is a myriad of flavours on the palate including red meat, plums and charry oak, encased in an attractive furry tannin structure. Lingers on the palate. Will develop further complexity with age, although drinking beautifully now. Will be superb with tea-smoked duck or mushroom risotto.
